Often when we consider self harm the public will focus on the younger population. However, self harm doesn’t discriminate and neither do we.
The BBC News released an article on Thursday (3rd June 2021) focusing on self harm in the older population and the impact of the pandemic.
Colin Menz, Self harm Service Manager, and Sarah Kessling, Strategy and Resilience Lead, have supported the BBC with this article and featured on BBC News yesterday to help raise vital awareness.
Harmless provide an all-age self harm support service if you or anyone you know are struggling then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
