On Saturday 25 September almost 100 people gathered to celebrate Harmless. It was a very special evening of food, games and music. Most importantly we took the time to acknowledge the successes of the last 18 months. We were inspired by client, Brooke’s recovery story:
We also raised £2,000 from the evening, both from ticket sales but also the auction and raffle. In very humble terms this equates to 50 life-saving sessions delivered. 50 more lives saved. 50 more families will still be holding their loved ones because of this night. Thank you to everyone who joined us on the evening, purchased raffle tickets or donated prizes for the raffle or auction. We really value your contributions.
If you would still like to offer your support our Project Lead and Specialist Trainer, Leanne Moulton will be launching herself, quite literally, into raising some further lifesaving funds by bungee jumping from a 160ft platform on the 13 November 2021. Any support and circulation you can offer would be greatly appreciated. You can find her Localgiving page here.
We also launched our very special ambassador programme and welcomed our first cohort of ambassadors. Our ambassadors play a vital role in championing our cause and sharing our message of hope and recovery in the community. A warm welcome and a big thank you to the following new ambassadors:
- Andrea Cockram
- Barney Thorne
- Joanna Lockwood
- Trevor Harris
- Sarah Fairbank
- Charlotte Henson
- Pam Burrows
- Shona Charlton
- Polly Yates
- Lindsey Barratt
- Rachael Spencer
- Tammy Coles
The next celebration event will take place on 24 September 2022 in Nottinghamshire. If you would like to book your ticket in advance you are very welcome to do so here.
