Harmless’ Celebration Event a huge success

On Saturday 1st October, Harmless and The Tomorrow Project threw our annual celebration event. This event is to really celebrate the important work that we do, and all that we have achieved over the past year. This years event was extra special as Harmless was celebrating its 15th birthday!

On the night we heard from Clare, who bravely told her story and her experience of receiving support from The Tomorrow Project. Her speech really put everything that we do into perspective, proving the need and effectiveness of our life saving support services. Thank you Clare for sharing your story.

The evening is also an opportunity to raise vital funds to keep our services running. Through holding a raffle and auction on the night, along with some games along the way, we were able to raise a fantastic £3,000! This money will go directly into supporting those in need. We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along, purchased raffle tickets, bid on our auction and donated money for our services. Your support really does make a difference.

We would like to express our special thanks to Pam Burrows, one of our ambassadors, who kindly agreed to be our compere for the evening. Her fantastic energy really set the tone of celebration for the evening.

We would also like to express our thanks to Trevor Harris, another of our ambassadors, who once again performed the role of our fantastic Auctioneer for the evening. With Trevor’s help we were able to auction off some fantastic items with the proceeds going to Harmless’ support services.

And to our photographer for the evening, Kit Taylor, who stepped in last minute to capture the evening. Here are a few images that Kit captured during the evening, with many more to follow…

During the evening, we also saw a short film that was recorded with one of our clients, Jo. Jo kindly agreed to put her story on film to inspire others to seek the support they deserve. Thank you Jo for supporting us with making this short film. You can view this below…
