By Laura Hughes (Suicide Crisis Service Lead – Maternity Cover)
The Tomorrow Project is currently inviting applications for an unpaid academic internship, which involves contributing to a short-term project.
The responsibility of the intern will be to conduct research and generate a contemporary literature review regarding primary-care interventions for individuals grappling with suicidal crises. This literature review will establish the evidence-base for suicide crisis management within primary health care settings.
This position is particularly suitable for a postgraduate student or recent graduate eager to gain academic experience within the mental health sector. Our novel project enables flexibility, with options for remote work or at our Nottingham-based office. The project commencement is scheduled for December 2023.
Interested applicants should forward their application to laura.hughes@tomorrowproject.org.uk, titling the email as ‘Internship Application’. The application should include a statement of interest, a summary of prior experience and a personal take on the unique contributions you could make to this project.
We look forward to meeting you for this exciting opportunity.
