Our Enormous Impact in Self Harm and Suicide Prevention
Over the past 12 months, Harmless and The Tomorrow Project’s unwavering dedication to providing comprehensive support and resources has enabled us to make a profound impact on the fight against self harm and suicide. We have empowered individuals, organisations and communities to make a difference in the lives of those struggling with these challenging issues.

Advancing Knowledge and Awareness
We have played a pivotal role in advancing knowledge and awareness about self harm and suicide. Our work has contributed significantly to breaking the stigma surrounding these issues, fostering open dialogue and encouraging individuals to seek help. We have also developed innovative resources, such as our training academy, which provides comprehensive training to professionals working in healthcare, education, social care and youth services.

Strengthening Support Networks
Beyond raising awareness, we have focused on strengthening support networks for individuals and families affected by self harm and suicide. Our drop-in service, available to those within Nottinghamshire, has provided a safe and supportive environment for individuals to seek help and connect with others who understand their experiences. We have also established partnerships with community organisations to expand access to support services and promote mental health literacy.

Influencing Policy and Practice
We have been active in influencing policy and practice related to self-harm and suicide prevention. We have engaged with policymakers, service providers and community leaders to advocate for evidence-based approaches and promote best practices. Our contributions have helped to shape national guidelines and initiatives, leading to improved outcomes for individuals and communities.

Championing Resilience and Hope
Throughout our efforts, we have consistently championed resilience and hope. We have emphasised the importance of building self-esteem, fostering emotional regulation skills and cultivating supportive relationships. Our work has empowered individuals to navigate their challenges and find pathways to recovery.

A Legacy of Positive Change
Our impact over the past 12 months has been undeniable. We have demonstrated the power of collaboration, innovation, and dedication in addressing the complex issues of self harm and suicide. Our work has saved lives, transformed lives and set a standard for excellence in the field of suicide prevention. As we look to the future, we remain committed to our mission of creating a world where self-harm and suicide are no longer the devastating realities they are today. Our unwavering commitment to making a difference is an inspiration to all who are touched by our work.
