Briony Harden

Clinical Support Worker (OUT OF HOURS)

Briony joined Harmless in August 2021 with a strong interest in working within mental health. She has a degree in Psychology from Solent University and, in September, will finish her masters in Mental Health: Research and Practice from the University of Nottingham. She is working with the World Health Organisation for my dissertation.

Briony works part-time as a Clinical Support Worker within the Nottinghamshire Crisis Sanctuaries.

She offers support to those in a self-defined mental health crisis. The Sanctuaries run outside of normal working hours, giving more people the opportunity to seek and obtain support. Briony provides support face-to-face, over the phone, video calls, and text.

Outside of work, Briony enjoys watching TV and going to football matches when she can. She grew up a Liverpool fan, but being from the South, started to support Southampton. She also enjoys travelling.
