Laura Hughes
Suicide Crisis SERVICE LEAD
Laura joined the Harmless team in January 2020 as a voluntary intern, writing a paper about trauma-focused interventions. After a few months of volunteering, Laura was invited to join The Tomorrow Project’s suicide crisis pathway just before the first Covid-19 lockdown. Laura has since been delivering stabilisation intervention to people of all ages in suicide crisis, and is incredibly passionate about this work.

Laura is passionate about trauma-informed practice, social justice, and LGBTQIA+ suicide prevention.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys watching Doctor Who, hanging out with her three rescue chickens, and walking her 13-year-old rescue dog Robbie.
