Leanne is Harmless’ Academy Lead, overseeing the development, implementation and improvement of the organisations’s training services on self harm, suicide and mental health. She works closely alongside her colleagues in the Senior Leadership Team, as well as the Training and Education Officers and Service Leads.

Leanne first started with Harmless as an intern in 2016, whilst completing her BA (Hons) in Special and Inclusive Education. She began her career in pastoral support within primary schools, focusing on inclusion and support for pupils with SEMH needs. This, paired with her lived experience supporting a family member with severe mental health needs, initiated her interest for working in the fields of self harm and suicide.
