Leanne Moulton
TRAINING SERVICE LEAD
Leanne
first started with Harmless as an intern in 2016, whilst completing her BA
(Hons) in Special and Inclusive Education. Leanne began her career in pastoral
support within primary schools, focused on inclusion and support for pupils
with SEMH needs. This, paired with her lived experience supporting a family
member with severe mental health needs initiated her interest for working in
the field of Self harm and Suicide.
Leanne joined the
Harmless, Let’s Talk Training, team in April 2019 as a Specialist trainer. She
delivers a range of evidence-based CPD accredited training sessions on
self-harm, suicide, and mental health across the UK. She is also a
qualified ASIST instructor and Adult/Youth Mental Health First Aid Caregiver.
Within her current role, as interim Operations Manager, Leanne oversees and
manages the training operation. With the aim of creating vital funds to go
directly back into our life saving support services.
The role of
education within the field of Self harm and Suicide is an area Leanne is
passionate about and recognises the need for all
individuals to have knowledge and confidence to respond. Through training,
Leanne hopes to equip and empower delegates to have lifesaving conversations
and to promote the message of hope and recovery.
In
her spare time, Leanne enjoys spending time with loved ones and taking her two
sausage dogs Kevin and Colin on walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds.
