I’m Rani and I am a Specialist Integrative Psychotherapist and Project Lead for the Harmless pathway. I have worked in higher education supporting students holistically with their Mental Health, Physical Health, Relationships, Lifestyle and Accessibility needs at The University of Nottingham and The University of Derby in Student Welfare and Specialist Mentoring roles for over fifteen years. I have previously worked as a Therapist at an Eating Disorder Service and also for Healthcare workers.
I have an undergraduate degree In The Healing Arts and Sociology and am currently studying an MSC in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy based on CBT, Person Centred and Attachment theories. My Dissertation is an exploration of the application of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapeutic approaches in adolescents who self-harm.
I’m a mother of two wonderful young people and I enjoy travelling, hill walking, arts and culture.
