Sam Etchells
Self Harm Service Team Lead
Sam joined Harmless and The Tomorrow Project in March 2021 as a Bereavement Clinical Support Worker. She offers practical and emotional support to people that have been affected or bereaved by suicide.
Sam is currently in her third year studying for an undergraduate degree in counselling and psychotherapy. She has experience working with clients through her placements at Safe Space and Nottingham Counselling Service. Before joining the team, she also had a short stint as a community support worker, where she supported vulnerable people with everyday tasks.
Sam enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, and likes travelling to new cities and countries. Sam has a pet tortoise, and his name is Toby. She is hoping to introduce him to the work that she does with children.
