Sydney Cooke

Clinical Support Worker

Sydney joined Harmless in February 2021 as the very first Clinical Support Worker for the Nottinghamshire Crisis Sanctuaries with Harmless. Sydney was currently completing her MSc in Mental Health: Research and Practice at the time.

Sydney now is also a Clinical Support Worker for the Suicide Crisis Pathway and CHESS Digital Café, as part of the Tomorrow Project. As part of her role, she spends her time attending 1-1 sessions with clients for both the Sanctuary and Suicide Crisis, as well as running CHESS sessions. She also spends her time carrying out assessments with clients, finding appropriate onward referrals if needed and making first contact with clients prior to their initial sessions.

During Sydney’s spare time, she likes to play with her two little dogs, Bruno and Stanley and eat her way through the snacks in the kitchen.
