In Review: From Harm to Hope 2025

Earlier this spring, over 200 professionals and academics gathered in Nottingham for our 10th National Self Harm and Suicide Prevention Conference. With delegates joining both in-person and via an online stream, From Harm to Hope 2025 represented an opportunity to join together for an engaging day of specialist and evidence-based content.

Featuring a selection of expert-led plenary sessions and workshops, the day’s programme presented a diverse range of voices from different backgrounds and experiences. We have since collected some wonderful feedback from those in attendance that we wanted to share:

‘My first conference and great opportunity to network and obtain the value I was hoping for – thank you!’

‘Today was a fantastic opportunity to learn from others and reflect on how to improve mental health support in different ways. I especially appreciated the focus on different groups who ordinarily have issues engaging with services’

‘The whole programme has been excellent and thought-provoking. Thank you!’

‘I loved the whole day – it was all very informative, and I will be able to feedback some key themes to rest of my small team’

‘It was incredible to be in a room with so many passionate people and the theme of lived experience really shone through. A great day!’

Harmless and The Tomorrow Project would like to take this opportunity to once again thank all our delegates, plenary speakers, workshop leaders, stallholders, poster presenters and everyone else who helped make the day such a special and inspiring occasion.

We hope to see you all again next year.
