Harmless is launching a brand-new support offer – and we’d love for you to be part of it! We’re creating a Choir for Hope, a unique opportunity to come together, sing and connect under the expert guidance of renowned choirmaster Kari Olsen-Porthouse from The Liberty Singers, alongside our own experienced and compassionate team.
This isn’t just a choir – it’s a space for understanding, healing and community. We warmly welcome anyone with lived experience of mental distress, including those who have:
- Experienced suicidal thoughts or crisis (including self harm)
- Supported a loved one through a mental health crisis
- Been bereaved by suicide
And the best part? You absolutely DO NOT need to be able to sing! Our Choir for Hope is a non-judgemental, daytime space focused on wellbeing, connection and shared experience. You’ll be supported by the Harmless team throughout, and we’ll also be exploring the positive impact singing together can have on wellbeing as part of our ongoing research.
If you’re ready to learn more or express your interest, we’d love to hear from you! To make the choir as inclusive and accessible as possible, we’re inviting you to share your preferences on rehearsal times and any ideas or suggestions you may have.
