Robin Hood Half & Mini Marathons

We are delighted to announce that we are Robin Hood Half Marathon Community Charity Partners for 2026.

The Robin Hood Half is Nottingham’s most popular fundraising activity, with 14,000 runners raising a staggering £578,610 last year alone. This year, we are inviting entrants to run for Harmless and The Tomorrow Project.

By running for us, you will be helping to support people experiencing distress and isolation, facilitating our vital services, and providing hope and promoting recovery.

The Robin Hood Half & Mini Marathons

The Robin Hood Half is a single-lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km) course. Don’t forget, there is also the Mini Marathon, which we would love you and your little ones to run with us! Both events takes place on Sunday 27th September 2026.

By running for Harmless and The Tomorrow Project, you will be helping to support people experiencing distress and isolation in the East Midlands: facilitating our vital service, providing hope and promoting recovery.

Our support does not discriminate: we provide ease of access to service for people who self harm, their friends, families and professionals

Every penny you raise will help support work in our client-facing service, in our communities and in our research.

A dedicated member of the fundraising team will support you to the finish line and beyond. We will also provide a fundraising guide and fundraising support in the build up to the event (including materials such as posters and collection boxes).

Members of our team will be there on race day to offer support and cheer you on. We will also supply
a branded Harmless t-shirt for training and the race (these are included with a pledge to raise a minimum of £300 or will be available for purchase on our website soon).

We have five complimentary charity places for the Half Marathon, which require a £300 minimum fundraising target. We also have five places for the Mini Marathon (£100 minimum target).

If you are interested in one of our charity places, please email jessica.paine@harmless.org.uk

If you’ve entered the 2026 Robin Hood Half Marathon directly, you can choose to join our running team without a minimum fundraising target. You can still run for Harmless, and fundraise freely, spreading awareness and making a difference!

Just let us know, and we’ll send you everything you need to fundraise with us and be part of our team: jessica.paine@harmless.org.uk

We’re looking to recruit seven volunteer marshals, alongside a team of volunteers for our Cheer Zone to help create an amazing atmosphere on the day. Your energy and support will make all the difference!

Volunteer marshal responsibilities include cheering on and motivating runners,
helping keep closed roads secure from vehicles, staying alert to pedestrians and cyclists, directing runners and warning runners of upcoming turns. Cheer Zone supporters are responsible for bringing the energy to help runners cross the finish line!

Volunteers must be available from approximately 8.30am until 13.30pm on Sunday 27th September 2026. To apply to volunteer, please fill in this form.

You can register to run for Harmless and The Tomorrow Project via the button below and selecting Harmless when prompted to choose a charity.
