Robin Hood Half & Mini Marathons
We are delighted to announce that we are Robin Hood Half Marathon Community Charity Partners for 2026.
The Robin Hood Half is Nottingham’s most popular fundraising activity, with thousands of runners raising a staggering £578,610 last year alone. This year, we are inviting entrants to run on behalf of Harmless and The Tomorrow Project.
By running for us, you will be standing alongside those facing some of life’s most distressing and difficult challenges. Your support will help fund our life-saving services, bringing hope to those who need it most.
The Robin Hood Half & Mini Marathons
The Robin Hood Half is a single-lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km) course. Don’t forget, there is also the Mini Marathon, which we would love you and your little ones to run with us! Both events take place on Sunday 27th September 2026.
Why Run For Harmless and The Tomorrow Project?
Harmless is the national centre of excellence for self harm and suicide prevention. We save lives by providing support, information, training and consultancy about self harm to individuals who self harm, their friends, families and professionals. Our sister service The Tomorrow Project works to support individuals and communities to prevent suicide, and offers support to those bereaved by suicide. Our work is based upon promoting health and recovery, reducing isolation and distress, and increasing awareness and skill in intervention.
Every penny you raise will directly support our client-facing work in the communities we serve.
What's Included as a Harmless Runner?
A dedicated member of our fundraising team will support you every step of the way – to the finish line and beyond. In the lead-up to the event, we’ll help you set up your fundraising campaign and provide everything you need to succeed, including materials such as posters and collection boxes.
On race day, our team will be there to cheer you on and offer their support. You’ll also receive a branded Harmless T-shirt for training and racing, included when you pledge to raise a minimum of £300 – or available to purchase on our website.
Charity Places
We have five complimentary charity places for the Half Marathon, which require a £300 minimum fundraising target. We also have five places for the Mini Marathon (£100 minimum target).
If you are interested in one of our charity places, please complete the form below.
Already Have a Place?
If you’ve already secured your place in the 2026 Robin Hood Half Marathon, you can still join Team Harmless – with no minimum fundraising target. Run for us in your own way, raise what you can, spread awareness and help to make a real difference.
Simply get in touch and we’ll send you everything you need to start fundraising and feel part of the team: jessica.paine@harmless.org.uk
Volunteer
We’re looking for seven enthusiastic volunteer marshals, along with a team of Cheer Zone volunteers, to help us create an incredible atmosphere on the day. Your energy, encouragement and support will make a real difference to every runner taking part.
As a volunteer marshal, you’ll cheer on and motivate runners, help keep closed roads clear of vehicles, stay alert to pedestrians and cyclists, guide participants along the route, and give advance warning of upcoming turns.
Our Cheer Zone volunteers bring the noise and the positivity – creating a powerful, uplifting atmosphere that helps runners dig deep and make it across the finish line.
Volunteers must be available from approximately 8.30am until 13.30pm on Sunday 27th September 2026. To apply to volunteer, please fill in this form.
You can register to run in support of Harmless and The Tomorrow Project via the button below and selecting Harmless when prompted to choose a charity.
