Harmless Nominated for Three Workplace Wellbeing Awards

Harmless is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for THREE prestigious awards at the forthcoming Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards 2025. This is a remarkable achievement for our small but mighty team.

At Harmless, we understand that our work is not easy. Our dedicated team faces the complexities of suicide prevention daily, navigating emotionally demanding situations and supporting individuals and families through unimaginable grief. Yet despite the inherent challenges and our limited resources, Harmless has cultivated a workplace environment where compassion, support and growth are paramount.

Our Senior Leadership Team’s commitment to wellbeing is woven into the fabric of Harmless. It’s not just a buzzword, it’s a lived experience. And we are particularly proud that Darren Fox – our inspirational HR Lead – has been recognised for his work with an individual nomination of his own.

Our full list of nominations is as follows:

Excellence in Resilience, Change and Adaptability
This nomination recognises our ability to not only survive but thrive in a challenging environment, constantly adapting and evolving to meet the needs of our staff and the people we serve.

Most Inspiring HR Leader of the Year
Darren’s shortlisting for this award is a testament to his exceptional leadership, his innovative approach to HR, and his unwavering commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.

Best Wellbeing in the Workplace Strategy: SME
This nomination celebrates our comprehensive approach to employee wellbeing, encompassing mental health support, work-life balance, and a proactive approach to managing the specific challenges of working in suicide prevention.

We are immensely proud of the work we do at Harmless, and we are even prouder of the team that makes it possible. These nominations are a testament to their dedication, resilience, and commitment to our mission.

We will be sharing further insights into our workforce wellbeing initiatives via our blogs over the coming weeks, but for now we would like to thank all our ambassadors, supporters and stakeholders for their exceptional support and congratulate the whole team – and Darren in particular – on the recognition their work wholeheartedly deserves.
