Lydia joined the team in February 2020 as a Clinical Support Worker for the Tomorrow Project Suicide Crisis pathway. She is now the Trainee Service Manager for the Crisis pathway and Harmless Out of Hour Service. She has previous experience of working with individuals with autism and dementia. Lydia aims to offer a safe space for clients to open up about their experiences without feelings of judgement.
Lydia also has a qualification in professional cookery (I know, you weren’t expecting that one!). She also makes amazing cakes for birthdays, weddings and anniversaries. Lydia also has two dogs, named Eddie and Lily. They are her absolute world, and they are so lucky to have her. She is also obsessed with fruit winders for a snack!
Laura is one of the clinical support worker on the Tomorrow Project crisis pathway. She first joined Harmless as a voluntary intern in January 2020, and joined the crisis team a couple of months later for a full time position. Laura also has an interest in collecting and analysing clinical data, which is also incorporated into her job role! She is a University of York Psychology in Education graduate and is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society. Laura offers a kind and caring approach with her clients.
Outside of work she spends her time reading, playing the piano, and walking her rescue dog, Robbie. She loves watching Doctor Who, listening to music, and performing the Daði Freyr Tik Tok dance!

Next, we have Sydney, another one of our clinical support officers. Sydney first joined in February 2021 as a part time clinical support worker on the Nottinghamshire Crisis Sanctuaries, alongside her Masters. Now, she works full time alongside her colleagues Laura and Lydia. She has a BSc Honour’s in Psychology and an MSc in Mental Health: Research and Practice from the University of Nottingham.
During Sydney’s spare time, she likes to play with her two little dogs, Bruno and Stanley (I can see a theme coming along with this pathway and dogs). Sydney loves watching Netflix. Some of her favourite shows are Ozark, Bridgerton and Stranger Things
Last, but definitely not least, we have Amelia! She joined the Tomorrow Project team as a Clinical Support Officer for the Crisis & Self-Harm in November 2020. She has made such a huge asset to the team and takes such a caring approach with clients.
Amelia is currently on maternity leave (hence why her picture is a little older!) after delivering the most beautiful baby girl called Aria. We cannot wait for her to be back in summer to jump back into her amazing work with clients. In Amelia’s spare time, besides being the most amazing mother, she enjoys skateboarding and being outdoors! A fun fact about Amelia is that she has perfect sized hands for Pringle tubes!
